Early Years Education

Research has recently found that children as young as two, three and four are being divided into groups based on ability and behaviour in classrooms in England.

Results from the surveys conducted showed that half of the teachers surveyed believed grouping improved overall attainment. While others warned that grouping could limit children at a young age, one teacher in particular explained that it could “lead to disruptive behaviour, especially at the lower ability end”.

Tax-Free Childcare

The government is introducing new ways to help parents with childcare costs and this website lists all the offers available for families, along with useful information to help answer any queries childcare providers may have regarding the Tax-Free Childcare.

DBS checks

CSSIW have recently announced that are making changes to how you can apply for DBS checks.
