Bringing a fresh perspective to Early Childhood Education and Care

Workshop programme

On the day of the seminar you will have the opportunity to attend 2 out of the following 4 workshops. As space will be limited we advise you arrive as early as possible to try and avoid disappointment.

Workshop 1:

Building Links; Enriching Lives

In the summer 2019 issue of smalltalk magazine we introduced our members to Little Tigers Day Care in Monmouthshire, and read how they have been building links with their local community.

We are delighted to be able to offer you the opportunity to hear how they did it in more detail, ask questions and seek advice, and discover how the children’s learning and development has been enriched as a result.

You can download or purchase a copy of the summer 2019 issue of smalltalk here

Workshop 2:

Come dine with us; An Innovative Cook and Eat Project

Winners of the Early Years Wales Innovator of the Year Award 2019 – Chuckles Nursery in Newport have been taking their healthy eating strategy to another level by engaging with the parents and families of the children they care for.

Members of Early Years Wales will be able to read our Spotlight piece on Chuckles Nursery in the autumn 2019 issue of smalltalk (published September).

Non-members can pre-order a copy by emailing: charlotted@earlyyears.wales

Workshop 3:

Aldo Fortunati and Barbara Pagni in conversation…

A further opportunity to discuss and share ideas related to the San Miniato approach in more detail with our guest speakers.
