…and with a blink of an eye, the Summer Holidays have come to an end! Where did that time go?!

Take a look here at some of the news & updates surrounding the sector that have caught our eye the past couple of weeks…

Back to School

There have been so many cute pictures on our social media feeds this week of friends and family sending their little ones to big school!

We’re thinking of all those new intakes into your settings this week.

We hope they are all settling in well and enjoying this new and exciting chapter of their lives!

Health and Well-being

Almost 4 million children in the UK live in households that would struggle to afford to buy enough fruit, vegetables, fish and other healthy foods to meet the official nutrition guidelines, a groundbreaking food poverty study reveals.

This just being one of the reasons why your views on the Welsh Government consultation on the new Food & Nutrition in Childcare Settings are more important than ever.

The closing date for this consultation is Monday 17th September. Visit for further information.
