Nominations for our second Early Years Wales Awards are now OPEN!

This year’s awards ceremony will be taking place at The Hilton Hotel, Cardiff on 12th June 2020 in the evening and we will be revealing the name of our guest speaker soon so get ready and join us for a celebration!

We will be awarding excellence in five categories:

🏡 Early Years Wales Setting of the Year
📐 Early Years Wales Innovator of the Year
🎨 Early Years Wales Practitioner of the Year
 Early Years Wales Volunteer of the Year
📚 Early Years Wales Learner of the Year

Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW)

Please note: paper applications for childcare and play providers will only be accepted until Friday 28th February 2020.

If you’ve already started to complete a paper application, it is worth considering restarting this on CIW Online.

Before you start the registration process, you should however contact your relevant childcare organisation:

Public Health Wales

Public Health Wales have published useful information on their website regarding the Coronavirus outbreak, which will be updated every day at 3pm.

This information includes advice on how you can protect yourselves and others during this period. The PHW website also provides useful links to further advice from the Welsh and UK Governments and frequently asked questions.

Active Baby and You Workshops

As part of the new Welsh Active Early Years programme, this training approach will provide you with the skills and knowledge to enable you to cascade activities and health and well-being messages to the children in your care. It will also provide you with information to support parents through 4-week multi-skills play based approach.
